SoHo Records is an American independent record label and creative collective comprised of musicians, filmmakers, photographers, painters and writers.
Founded in 2001 by SoHo Johnny, SoHo has emerged as one of the premier independent labels operating today.
Our catalog of albums, music videos, and online content is constantly growing to include classic rock, hip-hop, EDM, indie rock and everything in between.
We seek to launch the careers of new artists and and nurture the careers of seasoned veterans and continue to focus on quality music and working with artists whose work ethic, craftsmanship, talent and sounds are superior.
With the announcement yesterday that Harry Styles has sold 182,000 copies on vinyl in the U.S last week, of his huge new album “Harry’s Place”, the world of vinyl is back from the future.
Simply, vinyl is sexy, it is one part pop art and one part ownership rights recordings like NFTs by other means. And Soho Records will remain on the cutting edge of a format that was all but killed off by the Compact Disc in the 1980s, only to discover that while CDs were put out to pasture once streaming hit big time in the 2010s, vinyl became something worth owning: not only because of the sound -which is better than either streaming or CDs, but the look, feel, and smell of vinyl makes it better than ever.
