Sohojohnny Supports the Fight against Cancer!
This photo was taken today at the American Cancer Society offices in Norwalk, Ct. where John 'Sohojohnny' Pasquale was pleased to donate close to $25,000.
Part of the donation was from proceeds from the Classic Summer Disco Extravaganza August 2019
Receiving the donation is Kaitlin Chieco, Sr Mgr of Community Development at ACS.
Thank you to all of our amazing friends! We are humbled by the love we’ve received.

On Thursday, October 3rd, Pep Real Estate will showcase their premiere property located at 69 Mercer Street, 5th Floor Penthouse, NYC. The open house takes place from 6-10 PM.
This rare vacancy (long or short) is ideal for pop-ups or short-term leases for high-end retailers, fashion houses, art galleries, film location scouts, record release parties, fashion houses and multi-level events.
During the evening, Pep Real Estate will also be showcasing their Soho Classics at 39 Wooster, 41 Wooster, 76 Wooster, 88 Thompson, 25 Howard Street, 139 Charles Street, and 685 Washington Street. Long or short-term leases available.
I was there as a guest of rocknyc.live partner SohoJohnny, Event Production and Artist Management as noted in the playbill. The evening began with a posthumous award for The Trammps’ lead singer Jimmy Ellis, presented to his widow and to his daughter, and continued through the night including producer and DJ Dayne Holt, who spun at Studio 54 as well as two of my favorite clubs of the 1980s, Area and Danceteria, Joel Diamond (2x Grammy Nominated Producer of 36 Gold & Platinum Records, Songwriter, & Music Publisher ) and more.
“Where doing it for a great cause. My friends invited me Here, Charlie Paci, Gigi, a lot of great people putting this together….if we do nothing, then nothing gets done for things like Cancer. So many people approached me, I did a gig last August 10th, and there was so much love, and that’s such a good feeling. I wanna say tonight that we’re here to have a good time, I want everybody to let their hair down, have a good time, and enjoy themselves. If we do nothing, nothing gets done! Everyday is a blessing and always remember that …” SoHo Johnny
It is a rare occasion when a 12 Hour Event takes off without one single hitch, when an entire event is beyond perfect. However, that was most definitely the case regarding SoHo Johnny’s “Summer Disco Extravaganza”, co-hosted by Dance Fever superstar Deney Terrio. For me it was a life altering phenomena, featuring the best disco had to offer, an atmosphere of peace and love, some of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and superstar SoHo Johnny, a man with class, integrity, charm, talent, a heart of pure gold, and a dream…..
As Johnny once explained to me, “I wanted to produce the concert that I wanted to see”. The second annual Classic Summer Disco Extravaganza! played out like a dream of what a show should be, a BBQ in the afternoon, an Italian buffet in the evening, a move of the proceedings from the open tent near the tennis courts to the Main Ballroom at the Center, a silent auction, a meet and greet, and event manager Steven Calapai, a whirligig of energy and movement, everywhere at once. It was completely sold out with 100s of folks left on the waitlist and, in schadenfreude style, those of us who got in enjoying being there that little bit more.
